lyrics
There’s something that’s been on my mind
Thought I left this part of me behind
That funny feeling just wont seem to die
Try to remember things were difficult
Destroyed each other, remember how that felt?
Thought I was losing you but I was losing myself
I kept believing that you’d understand
I’ll change baby but not into a different man
I’m out here trying the best that I can
There’s something that happens when you close your eyes
Listen closely, you’re still alive
Say something, everybody wants to know
So serious friendship so true
Fights so petty, we’d forget so soon
Deep down I know it’s the right thing to do
I’m alone and I remember myself
Felt so crazy not knowing what I’m about
Running back to you without a shadow of a doubt
They’re coming to get you
You don’t even know
Is it all because of
All because of
Is it all because of
Nothing like
There’s nothing like
I’m running away from
I’m running away from me
Ladies and Gentlemen
This was not what I expected! I thought this was a pop group (first time hearing this band) but I had to eat my hat because my assumption was so wrong. If you are a fan if complex piano layers, check this out! Also, the bassist and drummer are insane in here. I choked hearing one of the riffs it was that good! nvan92
Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
We need more folks paying attention to what sam's doing. This is unpretentious, forward-thinking, and fun as hell. It isn't afraid of being "un-jazzy" and it doesn't treat the standards with any amount of sanctity. This is what the spirit of jazz is really about. vasya

He gives a fuck (about playing excellent music and caring for his friends) and doesn't give a fuck (about anything else). That is why he's tight. Can we use dirty words here? grillonbleu
