lyrics
I can’t believe it
Hadn’t talked in a couple of months
Just saw the number
Didn’t know who it was
But those words you sent me
Can only mean a couple of things
I’ll answer gently
And see what it brings
The oldest remedy, yes I feel the same
I’ll be at your door for a midnight escapade
The gods are with me
There’s parking right in front of your house
I hug you warmly
As I try not to let the cat out
Up to your bedroom
Reminisce over days gone by
Are you happy to see me?
Or is that a tear in your eye?
I put my arm around you, I’m so glad I came
Now I’m in your bed for a midnight escapade
One night is all we need together
Allows us to remember
The reasons we laughed
Tonight I need you more than ever
I’ll lie with you forever
Or at least till the light

Absolutely ridiculous and brilliant at the same time!!
I couldn't set my favourite tracks (Do Hot Girls Like Chords & It's All Nothing Until It's Everything)
The skill and talent you can hear on this album is just mind blowing. Can't believe I've only just discovered them!
The videos on Youtube are well worth a watch as well - the videos for my favourite two tracks are just brilliant, and are totally worth it to see Sam Wilkes living his best life on the bass!!

Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic

We need more folks paying attention to what sam's doing. This is unpretentious, forward-thinking, and fun as hell. It isn't afraid of being "un-jazzy" and it doesn't treat the standards with any amount of sanctity. This is what the spirit of jazz is really about. dillpicker
